Nominate a charity or cause for the Trust to support

The Marketors’ Trust is regularly looking for new charities which meet our criteria of inspiring excellent and supporting good causes. The Trustees would like to offer members of the company the opportunity to propose charities and worthy causes appropriate to receive support from the Trust.

Members can use the form below to submit proposals for consideration by the Trustees. Proposals will be reviewed at the next available meeting of the Trustees.

Guidelines for nominations

It is expected that members will have a personal interest or involvement in the charity or cause they are nominating. In order to be eligible, the charity must have its primary operations in the UK but may have operations and/or deliver services overseas. However, in exceptional circumstances (for example, an emergency disaster appeal) the Chair may approve a donation, to be ratified subsequently by the Trustees.

There must be no financial benefit or benefit in kind to the Proposer. However, this does not preclude Members who are salaried employees of charities and non-profit organisations, from submitting proposals for donations to organisations or activities organised by them.

All proposals must be for donations to organisations which are in line with the Trust’s charter and the giving policy of the trust, as defines by the Trustees.

To nominate a charity or cause, please complete the form below. All fields are mandatory:

Nominations will also be accepted offline, please contact The Clerk’s Office directly.

All proposals may be shared with the Trustees and relevant officers of the Trust, but will otherwise be kept confidential until approved.

After any donation has been made, its nature and purpose may be announced in the Trust’s reports and publicity.
