Annual Marketors' Quiz

As we were unable to host the quiz in November it has been rearranged for 17th March and will be (now) Immediate Past Master John Farrell's final social event. Which means thanks must go to Master Trevor Brignall for supporting this.


We respectfully request that you take a lateral flow test before attending the Pub Quiz and in the event of a positive test do not attend. If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid 19 please do not attend. By booking this event you accept that there could be a risk of Covid 19 and the company takes no responsibility for anyone contracting the virus as a result of attending this event.

PLEASE NOTE: The room at the venue is on the first floor and there is no disabled access. 

THIS EVENT IS OPEN ONLY TO MEMBERS OF THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF MARKETORS AND THEIR GUESTS. 

Photographs will be taken and used for publicity purposes. If you do not wish your photograph to be taken please let the photographer who is covering the event know at the start of the event. 
 

We will be meeting face-to-face for the Marketors' 5th Pub Quiz. There will be teams of 6 and guests are most welcome.


It promises to be a fun-filled, lively and extremely sociable evening. So if you’re an eager Egghead, mini-Mastermind or wish to Only Connect do join us at a new venue for the Marketors, The Lamb Tavern in Leadenhall Market.

Entries are welcome from all members and teams will be six in size. If a group of people wish to make up a team please let me, Annie Brooks the Event Director (violetsistersnogger@gmail.com), know in advance. Otherwise I will allocate individuals to a team. (As a member of one of the winning teams I will share a secret with you. Have as much diversity in your team’s knowledge as you can, because ‘Team work makes the dream work.’)

The cost is £28 per person inc VAT. There will be a delicious selection of canapes served at the halfway point (please state any dietary requirements when booking). Drinks are extra. We will have our own bar which will be open for wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks.

There will also be a raffle in support of the Master’s chosen charity for 2021, Great Ormond Street Hospital. Please bring cash for the raffle. If anyone would like to donate a prize please let the Event Director, Annie Brooks, know.

What if I can’t make up a full team?

Book your tickets anyway and let the Event Director (Annie Brooks violetsistersnogger@gmail.com) know how many in your team and she will allocate additional people to make up a full team of six.
