Fellowship at the Marketors

With a shared foundation in marketing and a common commitment to using our professional skills for good causes, Marketors naturally form strong bonds with one another. This sense of affinity comes to life through our rich programme of Fellowship activities, which reflect both our identity as a Modern Livery Company and our place within the civic life of the City of London.

As a City Livery Company, our Fellowship ranges from Great Events at the Mansion House and participation in major City occasions - such as the Lord Mayor’s Show - to more intimate and informal gatherings. These include relaxed pub meet‑ups, special‑interest groups like our Wine Circle, and social events that bring members together in a welcoming, enjoyable setting.

Each July, the Marketors proudly host the Inter‑Livery Golf Day, a highlight of the Livery calendar. We also collaborate with fellow Livery Companies on joint events - for example partnering with the Distillers for lively debates on the branding and marketing of whisky, rum and tequila, followed by an in‑depth tasting. To balance the experience, we have also enjoyed an illuminating non‑alcoholic tasting with Club Soda, exploring the fast‑growing mindful drinking movement.

Together, these activities create a vibrant and supportive community where members connect, learn, contribute - and have fun - while celebrating both the heritage and the evolving future of marketing within the City.

We have a wide array of Marketing Educators and Senior Business Leaders who are members – in other words ‘you are always in good company with the Marketors’.

Other popular fellowship activities include our City walks, which uncover the hidden gems of the Square Mile—often built around themes such as street art or Jack the Ripper - and unique experiences like the annual Sheep Drive over London Bridge or a behind‑the‑scenes tour of the Old Bailey hosted by the Sheriff.

For members living beyond London and the South East, we also arrange regional gatherings to bring Marketors together across the UK. Our global reach even extends to Finland, where one of our overseas members organised a memorable long‑weekend visit for fellow Marketors.

Getting involved in one of our committees or helping to organise an event is another great way to meet like‑minded colleagues - many of whom quickly become good friends. With a diverse membership that includes leading Marketing Educators and Senior Business Leaders, you are always in good company with the Marketors.
