The Marketors' Outreach programme has been asked to deliver an Outreach marketing support project for the Outside Edge Theatre Company (www.edgetc.org), the UK’s only theatre company and participatory arts charity which focuses on addiction.
Based in London, the theatre company supports recovering addicts and those at risk or affected by addiction. Its inclusive weekly arts activities encourage beneficiaries to develop healthy habits, discover new talents and reclaim centre stage in their own lives. The Outside Edge Theatre Company also produces new writing and theatre to raise awareness of substance misuse and other addictions.
The Outside Edge Theatre Company uses theatre and performing arts to give people affected by addiction a voice, enabling them to reach and recognise their potential, find an identity and build life skills and confidence in order to support their recovery.
The Outside Edge Theatre Company activities are free for any service user who is practicing harm reduction or in recovery from any form of addiction plus their family, carers and champions. Six drop-in groups per week are run for new participants.
The Outreach marketing support project for the Outside Edge Theatre Company is being managed by Freeman Gwen Morgan-Fox supported by Liveryman Richard Bernholt.
The Worshipful Company of Marketors’ Outreach Programme matches “good cause” organisations needing pro bono marketing support with one or more appropriate members of the Marketors, from Freemen to Past Masters. Outreach’s professional management approach helps document, define and time limit the marketing support, delivers our members’ marketing expertise and helps the “good cause” organisation to make their own improvements.
Many members of the Marketors based across the UK and elsewhere want to donate some personal time to help deliver some charitable marketing back into society. Outreach enables that activity. If you would like to help a good cause, regardless of where it is in the UK or overseas, please contact email@example.com
