Calling all Livery Companies and their members.

On Monday 7 July 2025, the Worshipful Company of Marketors invites you, as individuals or in teams, for another great day of golf and fellowship.

It will take place, as usual, at Verulam Golf Club in St Albans, where Sam Ryder was Captain and created the Ryder Cup.

Several chances to win a prize

Our day includes 18 holes of golf and an 18-hole putting competition – as well as:

•     The virtual hole ‘Ryder Cup Challenge’. Entry for this competition is £10 which will be donated in full to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.

In addition to the best team prize, there will be prizes for nearest the pin, the longest drive and the highest individual score (also 2nd and 3rd prizes).

This day of inter-livery fellowship will be rounded off by a three- course dinner including wine, followed by prize giving and the raffle draw (raffle proceeds to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal).

If you can’t make up a full team, we will allocate individual entries into “Harlequin Teams” of four.

And, if you have a distance to travel, we can accommodate early or late tee times – just let us know on your booking form.

For the price of £110 per person (incl VAT), the day includes all the following:

•     coffee/tea & bacon (or egg) rolls on arrival

•     18 holes of golf

•     putting competition

•     three-course dinner with wines & coffee

Non-golfers are welcome to attend the dinner only, for which the price is £50 (incl VAT).
