The Worshipful Company of Marketors is a modern livery company for marketing professionals, founded in 1975 and incorporated by Royal Charter in 2010. Our members come from a wide range of organisations and backgrounds including global and UK business brands; digital, creative, media and advertising agencies; the public sector, 3rd sector and voluntary interest groups, consultancies, and academia.

Through the Future Marketors programme we offer early career marketing professionals the chance to meet new and interesting people, from different backgrounds, who are united by a common passion for marketing and a commitment to the social and charitable “fellowship ethos” of a Livery Company, built on foundations and social values which go back hundreds of years.

  • Build and create your own personal network of both peers and established senior marketers.
  • Increase your professional knowledge through access to existing online library of resources such as replays of previous events and personal development resources
  • Enjoy a varied social and business events programme including one unique Future Marketor event per quarter. Guest speakers at these exclusive events have included Keith Weed Ex-CMO Unilever and President of the Advertising Association and Jill Hughes, Managing Director of Brand Learning at Accenture.
  • The ability to attend Company events if / when sufficient spaces are available.
  • Mentoring: the opportunity to request to be matched with a member of the Mentoring Committee.
  • Future Marketor status will demonstrate your commitment to the wider development of the marketing profession, through this association with the Marketors.

Who can join Future Marketors?

Future Marketors is open to all young marketing and communications professionals, aged between 20 and 30.

How can you join?  

We welcome all membership enquiries, and you don’t need to know a current Future Marketor member before considering joining us. For information on membership and details of the application process please email futuremarketors@marketors.org and the Chairman of the Future Marketors Committee will respond to you.

What does it cost?

Membership of the Future Marketors is £100 per year, payable quarterly (£25 per quarter).

Can I come to an event to find out more?

If you do want to find out more, we would be very happy to host you at a Future Marketor event, where you could meet current members and learn more about our offering.

Our most recent event was an evening with one of the world’s foremost authorities on marketing Professor Malcolm McDonald. Professor Malcolm McDonald is an expert on strategic marketing, market segmentation, sales, and strategic/key account management. He has written over 45 books about marketing, has spent the past 30 years researching it and has helped many of the world’s leading organizations profit from being more market driven. In this exclusive event for Future Marketors talked about his view of the current marketing landscape and the changes we need to make to ensure that marketing has a strong voice not only within the business but within the boardroom as well.
