Global CEO of Ogilvy and Mather will speak at our conference

Miles Young, the Chairman and CEO of Ogilvy and Mather, one of the world’s largest communications groups, is to take over as Warden (i.e. CEO) of New College, Oxford on 1st September, 2016 and the very next day he will speak at our conference.

As his first action as Warden, he has agreed to speak at our one-day conference ‘Is Marketing for Good the Future of Marketing?’ to be held in New College, Oxford on Friday 2nd September. Book here
This is a unique chance to hear insights on current global marketing challenges from a top executive of a global advertising & marketing agency.

Young was educated at Bedford School and at New College, Oxford, where he gained a first class degree in Modern History. In 1990 he was appointed as Managing Director of Ogilvy and Mather Direct in London. Between 1990 and 1995 he was Regional Director of Ogilvy and Mather Direct Europe.

In 1995, Young was appointed Chairman of Asia Pacific at Ogilvy and Mather Worldwide. He has been CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide since 2008 and CEO of the Ogilvy Group since 2009. He has been the Chairman of the Board and Director of Ogilvy & Mather since 2012.

I am delighted to say that, at our recent Business Court, Miles’ application to join the Company was approved. He will be admitted as a Freeman at a special Ceremonial Court following our conference in New College.
