2018 a rewarding year for The Marketors' Trust Awards

Every year The Marketors’ Trust, working in close collaboration with the Awards committee, makes several Academic Awards to students from leading Business Schools for dissertations on marketing related topics. Six award winners were presented with their awards at the Mansion House dinner last year:

Donald Lancaster (University of Bath School of Management) received his award for his dissertation on “Institutional Work in Creative Industries: A qualitative study of advertising practitioners at work.”

Julia Gruszczynski’s (School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London) dissertation title was ”Friend or Foe? The Influence of Luxury and Sustainability on Consumers’ Willingness to Pay.”

Sofya Fominova (Westminster Business School, University of Westminster) wrote her dissertation on “Conversational Online Commerce: The influence of dialogue-driven approach on customer experience, spend and brand loyalty.”

My Hang Tran (Edge Hill University Business School) received his award in absentia for his dissertation on “How BHF and WWP recovered reputation through crisis communication strategies.”

Sanae Uchinaka Usui’s (Newcastle Business School, University of Northumbria) dissertation was on “Exploring the residents' role in place branding based on Twitter-usage by locals.”

Joanne Wang, Patricia Barzotti and Charlotte Rosenkilde Nielsen (Regents University London), received an award for their work on “Engaging Grocery Customers & Improving Loyalty Using In-store Mobile Apps.”
