This will be a unique opportunity for new Freemen to spend an evening in the company of junior and senior volunteer officers from our adopted Territorial Army Regiment – affectionately referred to as ‘151’.
In the course of the evening, we will hear from Brigadier (Ret’d) Richard Rook CBE, Hon Col of 151, on the challenges of serving with the TA in the current climate, from Steven Rowe, Chairman of the WCM Regimental & Cadet Force Liaison Committee, on the Marketors and Livery Movement, and a presentation on the defence and national security business from Fujitsu directors, one of the UK MOD’s leading Information & Communications Technology partners.
Over supper we will have the opportunity to participate in a facilitated discussion on practical operational needs of Combat Logistic Patrols from the 151 officers.
Thanks to the generosity of our host, President of Fujitsu’s Global Business Group, namely Freeman Richard Christou, we will be gathering at Fujitsu’s London headquarters. The evening will begin at 18.30 with briefings over drinks, followed by a sit-down supper with our Fujitsu hosts and the facilitated discussion. The evening will end at 21.45.
