The Australian cricket team return this year and will be hoping to retain The Ashes and England will be trying to repeat their dramatic win in 2005.

Before they arrive you will have an opportunity to tour the most famous cricket ground in the world and to dine in the Long Room - a privilege, as it is normally only available to members.

The tour of the ground will start from the Pavilion at 5pm and will include the Museum, Media Centre, Real Tennis Court, Nursery Ground and Nets, together with all the other areas that make up Lord’s. Curator Adam Chadwick will be your guide. You will also see The Ashes.

The Long Room has seen all the greatest cricketers in the world pass through its portals on their way to the hallowed turf. The Committee Room is the place where virtually all decisions affecting the game have been taken. The Media Centre is the first all aluminium, semi-monocoque building in the world and has won numerous awards. This is where the Test Match Special is broadcasted from.

The tour will be followed by a drinks reception and dinner in the Long Room.
