New Appointments:

Adèle Thorpe appointed Clerk to the Marketors

Adèle Thorpe has been appointed Clerk of the Marketors, the City Livery Company for marketing professionals, from 1^st August.

Currently Master of the Worshipful Company of Secretaries and Administrators, Mrs Thorpe is Chairman of the 2007/8 Livery Masters Association, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of World Traders and Secretary-Elect to the Ward of Cheap Club. She has taken over from Gaye Duffy who, after 12 years with the Worshipful Company of Marketors, has been appointed Clerk to the Worshipful Company of World Traders.

Commenting on the appointment John Fisher, Master of the Marketors, said ‘Adèle is supremely qualified professionally and is extremely knowledgeable about the workings of the City generally and Livery companies in particular. As a modern company, and one of the most active, we are confident that Adèle will continue to develop the support our growing membership needs.’
